At our riding school in Cal Robusto, we believe that horseback riding is an exciting and enriching activity, especially for young children. Horseback riding not only offers a stimulating form of leisure, but also gives children the opportunity to develop a special connection with horses. Through regular interaction with their four-legged friend, from grooming and feeding to their first rides, children build a trusting relationship and learn to be independent and responsible.
We offer horse riding lessons for all ages
Our school is designed to introduce children to the world of horseback riding in a safe and fun way. We offer pony lessons starting at age 4, allowing children to become familiar with the discipline and develop their balance and coordination. As they grow and gain experience, they can ride larger horses, always under the supervision of our qualified instructors.
Horse selection is crucial for a positive experience. We have calm and docile horses, ideal for beginners. Although a horse's breed can influence its temperament, at our school we focus on each horse's individual character to ensure each child has an experience appropriate to their level.
From first steps on a pony to riding larger horses, each stage is designed to support skill development, increase confidence, and foster a respectful relationship with animals. What do we offer?
Classes from beginners to advanced
Whether you're taking your first steps in horse riding or looking to perfect your skills, our classes are ideal for you. We offer an introduction to horse riding, where you'll learn the basics: correct posture, horse control, and fundamental riding techniques. For more experienced riders, we offer classes designed to help you improve your control, technique, and style, with specific exercises for developing advanced skills.
Work in the stable
Students will learn not only how to ride, but also how to care for horses. This includes tasks such as grooming, equipment maintenance, and feeding, which fosters a deeper understanding of equine care and strengthens the relationship between rider and horse.
Combined workshops
They integrate riding lessons with practical activities in the stable. These workshops are designed to provide a complete and balanced experience, where you can apply what you've learned in class to real-life situations and develop comprehensive horse handling skills.
Learn English while riding a horse
For those interested in learning or improving their riding skills in English, we offer specific classes in this language. This option is ideal for both international riders and those wishing to perfect their skills in an English-speaking environment, facilitating communication in international equestrian competitions and events.
Extracurricular activity
Sign up for our horseback riding lessons for children ages 5 and up. We offer sessions by level, Monday through Friday afternoons, in small groups taught by professionals certified by the Catalan Equestrian Federation and the Spanish Equestrian Federation.
Includes:
